I must say that I'm positive that today was the 2nd worst day of my life.
Some idiot I work with, who will remain unnamed, woke up this morning and thought to himself that life just wasn't worth living without making somebody elses live totally and utterly miserable...so he decided to stay home and play sick.
Well guess what!
Someone had to do his work for him and since he's been doing his best to make a extremely bad effort of it the last two weeks I had one hell of a shit load of work to do.
Now what most people would probably do is tell themselves that it's not their problem and just do enough of it and then pass it along again as soon as the chance arrives.
Hell, that wasn't even the worst of it.
Wasn't even halfway through the morning my lungs decided the pavement looked like a nice place to camp out for the weekend.
Salmonella you EVIL son of a bitch I bloody hate you!
Anyway, so even though the "boss-lady" told me to take the day off and go lie somewhere under a tree in the similar to hell temperatures present in natal at the moment I told her I'd just keep on working and make sure to have a window open every time another internal organ wanted to look up the pavement for some company.
Well, the day finally came to an end an the paperwork is finished and I;'m relieved its all over and yada yada yada...you all know the rest.
Just about to crawl out the door when it dawns upon me that things in fact COULD be worse!
So I turn back to go and have a look at the roster fir next week...
Well well well...seems like I have a very nice reason to be drinking myself comatose this weekend because for the second time in 3 weeks I have this hell-like route all for myself.
Yipee, says my ulcer...
Acid reflux takes over.
Well to that cowardice bastard that has smeared his work onto me: Congrats mate, at least I won't run away from a challenge...if they throw me in the deep end I'll swim as hard as I can even though the powers that be keeps yelling at me to walk on the water not paddle like crazy.
It all right because even when a challenge scares the hell out of me I take it on...Hell, especially when it scares the hell out of me cause that's the way a MAN was created by HIM that know best.
